New Agricultural Holdings (Units of Production) (England) Order 2017

When looking at succession under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 the productive capacity of the agricultural land in question must be assessed, and in order to carry out that assessment recourse must be had to the relevant units of production order.

Applying to England only, The Agricultural Holdings (Units of Production) (England) Order 2017 (the “2017 Order”) has now been made and will come into force on 7th November 2017. It replaces the Agricultural Holdings (Units of Production) (England) Order 2016 and sets out the amount to be regarded as the net annual income from each unit for the year 7th November 2017 to 6th November 2018.
