Emma Smart

Emma deals with a broad spectrum of non-contentious agricultural property matters.

Emma’s work encompasses the buying and selling of rural property, property finance (both rural and commercial) and advising on complex residential sites.  She also increasingly acts on property development work and particularly option agreements, conditional contracts and overage agreements.

In addition, Emma has considerable experience in non-contentious commercial property transactions, particularly in the retail, storage and distribution sectors.

Emma has acted for high net worth individuals, SMEs and large national and multinational clients.

Emma studied law at the University of Sheffield and trained at Walker Morris in Leeds. She qualified in 2003 and after spending some time living in New Zealand, returned to the UK and worked at Wright Hassall LLP in Warwickshire. Emma joined Loxley in November 2015.
