Fred Harrison-James


Fred specialises in litigation and disputes involving land. He advises on legal issues affecting property, agricultural landlord/tenant matters, partnership dissolutions, trusts and probate disputes, and sporting rights disputes.

In addition, Fred is experienced in advising food and farming businesses on regulatory matters, having acted for farmers and industry bodies in disputes concerning the basic payment scheme, animal health and livestock regulations.

Fred studied law at Lincoln College, Oxford. He trained at Burges Salmon in Bristol, qualifying as a solicitor in their agriculture and property litigation team in 2004. During 2008/09, Fred worked in Cambodia as a legal consultant on projects to counter human trafficking.

Fred joined Loxley in 2010 and became a partner in 2014. He is a member of the Property Litigation Association and the Agricultural Law Association.
