George Fellowes

George advises on contentious agricultural property issues. He acts for both landlords and tenants under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 and the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995, with further specialisation in partnership dissolutions, real property and commercial disputes.

George’s practice in property law includes prescriptive rights, rights of access, proprietary estoppel and disputes involving co-ownership of land under Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.

Outside property law, he advises on nuisance, regulatory issues relating to land use and water law.

George qualified in 2007, joined Loxley in August 2011 and became a partner in April 2018.

He is a member of the Property Litigation Association and the Agricultural Law Association.
