Richard Price

Richard specialises in all aspects of planning, both contentious and non-contentious, as well as planning development.

Richard acts for a broad range of clients on a variety of planning related matters, including:

• planning and enforcement appeals;
• planning applications and objections;
• permitted development and lawful development certificates;
• planning and highways agreements;
• listed building and conservation areas;
• compulsory purchase and compensation.

Richard also has a thriving practice in planning development work, including promotion, option and hybrid development agreements. This area of practice extends from small single owner sites, self-build schemes through to extensive multi-landowner development sites.

Richard is also a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) having practised as a land agent in the south west and south Wales, gaining valuable experience in all aspects of rural estate management, valuation and professional services.

Richard joined Loxley in 2017 and became a Partner in 2022. He is a member of the Agricultural Law Association and Compulsory Purchase Association.
