Sam specialises in litigation and dispute resolution relating to land. His areas of expertise also include advising claimants and defendants on professional negligence claims.
After a degree in history at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, Sam converted to law and joined Burges Salmon, qualifying into their property disputes team in 2009. In 2012, he joined the Bristol office of a specialist professional negligence practice. Sam joined Loxley in 2017 and became a partner in April 2023.
He is a member of the Agricultural Law Association, the Property Litigation Association and the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association.
